All data is stored and processed in the EU. Lens runs today on Microsoft Azure in the Sweden Central region, and everything is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
Never. Your documents are not used to train our or our vendors' foundation models. Your data stays yours.
PDF, Word, Excel, drawings and scanned originals and images. Lens parses each page down to tables, footnotes, OCR and formulas, and links every answer to the exact source page.
Lens supports 2FA and SSO via SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect, or passwordless authentication via email or SMS. Access is role-based, and per-user permissions can be inherited from SharePoint, Drive and similar sources.
Yes. As a Swedish EU company, Backtick is fully GDPR-compliant. ISO 27001 certification is underway, and our Trust Center offers full transparency.
You fully own your documents and can delete them whenever you want - they're then removed on our side too, from both systems and backups. We keep no copies.
